The Library of Congress is the national library of the United States and one of the largest libraries in the world, housing millions of books, manuscripts, maps, photographs, and recordings. It serves as a vital research resource for Congress and the public.
It’s pretty close to where I live, and one of the nicest “hidden gems” right behind the U.S. Congress.
On my last visit there, I spent hours looking through old photos of Beirut, especially AUB, and decided to post them on here, in a call back to the good old days when Gino’s Blog was still a humble WordPress blog of a struggling AUB Biology student!
